Good work, everyone! Let’s do USD/JPY scalping again this evening!
First, the Tokyo session overview for today.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 152.85. The pair started around 152.55 in the morning, but in Tokyo time it has been moving with a tendency toward yen weakness due to expectations of the Bank of Japan delaying a December rate hike.
After 13:30, it rose to the day’s Asia high around 153.10.
Hmm, the BOJ delaying the December rate hike seems almost certain, doesn’t it?
From the morning level, about 30 pips higher, it seems to be handing over to overseas trading time.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements near the New York market open around 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be careful of headlines related to U.S. rate cuts
● Be careful of headlines related to BOJ rate hikes
● Be careful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping does not have major market-moving catalysts; the idea is to accumulate profits from moves near each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling according to the theory should be fine.
Also, the short-only 15-minute scalping has reached the highest level since the BOJ’s December rate hike delay expectation, so it may be wiser to hold off. If position-adjusting selling arises due to weekend factors, I plan to rotate in smaller, careful steps without forcing it.
