United States - Consumer Price Index.
There are reports that influenza has begun to spread in the neighborhood.
How about around you?
Last season I got infected despite getting vaccinated, and this year I’m wary of Komakura kobanr (baby-faced; nickname). Hello.
Now, with prices rising, shopping is gloomy, and the US Consumer Price Index has been released.
(Quoted below from Yahoo News ↓)
The growth rate of the US consumer price index in November was 2.7%, rising for the second month in a row from the previous month.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on the 11th that the November consumer price index rose 2.7% year over year. Although it was in line with market expectations, the rate of increase compared with the previous month rose for the second consecutive month, indicating that inflation in the United States has not completely cooled yet.
The Federal Reserve Board (FRB), which serves as the central bank, lowered its policy rate in September and November for two consecutive meetings, and the market is growing more confident that a 0.25% rate cut will be made at the meetings on the 17th and 18th this month.
On the other hand, given the ongoing risk of inflation flaring up again, there is a broad expectation that further rate cuts by the FRB will be approached cautiously next year....that’s the word.
Influenza is a concern, but inflation is also a concern (saying something trivial)
