【12/10 USD/JPY Scalp Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now let's scalp USD/JPY again tonight!
First, the overview for today’s Tokyo session.
Currently USD/JPY is around 151.20. This morning it started around 151.15, but during the Tokyo session it has paused its rise after the BoJ’s December rate-hike expectations, and although it remains somewhat heavy at higher levels, it is moving in the upper range.
It’s likely to hand over to the overseas session at roughly the same level as this morning.
The market’s focus is tomorrow’s CPI in the United States, so today looks to be absorbed through corrective trading.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open near 17:00
● Movements around the New York market open near 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be wary of headlines related to U.S. rate cuts
● Be wary of headlines related to BoJ rate hikes
● Be wary of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping has no particular catalyst in the market; it’s about accumulating profit from moves around each market open. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” handling it according to the theory should be fine.
Also, for the 15-minute scalping that specializes in short positions, ahead of tomorrow’s U.S. CPI release, if position adjustments and selling emerge, there could be a chance here as well. If there’s a setup to sell around 151 yen, we’ll target it.
