2024/12/10GOLD Effective Trade Procedure Explanation
This time we will explain on a 1-minute chart.
First, as shown in the image above, the first half is in a downtrend. (The four-hour time frame bars are not displayed. They are not necessary for scalping.)
① First, when the main chart's Slope line changes from blue upward to red downward, and remains in a down color until the middle, an efficient (sure-fire) entry is to take a selling position, and signals to buy should be ignored.
Even though the trend is down, taking a buying position will shortly trigger the red sell signal and you will not gain much or may incur a loss.
It may be okay to enter sells and close buys repeatedly, but considering the spread as shown in the above image,it would be less bothersome to exit when the final slope line color changes to blue and turns upward.
② About changes with Slope line parameter adjustments
The value of the parameters below is 40butthe default is 80.
It describes a relatively gentle curve.
However, the color change of the line lags behind the main chart's signals.
For longer timeframes that may be fine, but for short timeframes like 1-minute, the lag becomes larger.
If you set the parameter to 40 or 30 (these are for personal preference; they may overlap with the trend line), the line color changes around where it nearly matches the main chart's signals, but overall it is not ideal for viewing the bigger picture.
The figure above shows the parameter set to 40.
However, with 40 it overlapped with the trend line, which may be a bit hard to read…
Please adjust according to your preference.
Ultimately, display with the default 80, confirm QQE and the Sneke at item ③, and if it matches the main chart's signals, it should be fine to take a position.
Regarding QQE, if the center line at 50 is below, please determine that a downtrend is occurring.
The Sneke line should be judged by its volatility.
If the mountain shape is small, it should be considered a range, and it is better not to take a position.
That is all.
Also, I will write if I notice anything else.
