【12/3 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Hope you’re all well! Let’s do some Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, let’s start with today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 150.05 yen. This morning it started around 149.55, but during Tokyo time it retraced after the preceding dollar weakness and yen strength, rising to today’s Asia high around 150.25 past 14:00.
From the morning level, about 50 pips higher, it seems to hand over to the overseas session.
For now in Tokyo, it feels like the shorts accumulated there will be stopped out by European and London participants.
Now, here are tonight’s Dollar/Yen scalping points.
● Movements around the London market open near 17:00
● Movements around the New York market open near 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the release of U.S. JOLTS job openings at 24:00
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping includes opportunities around market opens and after the 24:00 U.S. JOLTS release. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” I think you can handle it according to the theory without issue.
Also, the 15-minute short-only scalping may see temporary buying by European and London participants, but the 150-yen mid-level seems heavy, so there could be another opportunity there as well. If it forms a sell-off from the 150 yen area, I’ll target it.
