Thanks for your hard work! Now, let's do some USDJPY scalping again tonight!
First, here is today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 150.20. This morning it started around 149.60, but during the Tokyo session concerns over the fiscal policy in France and Donald Trump’s future administration’s 100% tariff remarks toward BRICS countries sparked dollar buying.
Around 14:00, it rose to a high of 150.75 in Asia’s session.
However, in the late Tokyo session, comments from Governor Ueda of the Bank of Japan raised expectations for a rate hike in December, shifting the flow toward yen buying again, and it seems to be ready to hand over to the overseas session with an increase of about 80 pips from the morning levels.
Today, the U.S. returns after a long weekend due to Thanksgiving, so there is anticipation, but the market had already moved to some extent during the Tokyo session.
Now, here are the points for this evening’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the London market open near 17:00
● Movements around the New York market open near 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the US ISM Manufacturing PMI release at 24:00
● Be cautious of headlines related to the Trump administration
For tonight’s 1-minute scalping, opportunities are likely to arise from movements around each market open plus the movement after 24:00 ISM release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” processing as per theory should be fine.
Additionally, the 15-minute scalping, which is short-selling focused, may also have opportunities as Governor Ueda’s remarks revive expectations of a December BoJ rate hike. If a setup forms to sell from the mid-150s, I will target it.
