Zaif cryptocurrency exchange suffers hacking on September 20!
Zaif, a major Japanese cryptocurrency exchange, revealed on PRTIMES that around 2:00 AM on September 20, it incurred hacking damage amounting to about 6.7 billion yen and is currently suspending deposits and withdrawals of cryptocurrencies.

The sequence of Zaif’s hacking incident
Zaif has announced the currently known facts as follows.
First, between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM on September 14, due to unauthorized external access, cryptocurrency was illegally transferred from the hot wallet managed by Zaif.
Subsequently, on September 17, citing server access issues, all deposits and withdrawals of all cryptocurrencies were halted, and on September 18 the hacking damage was acknowledged.
