The common trait of people who do well in trading is that they can stay consistent

and do things steadily, but if you go in the wrong direction

you tend to waste your effort… haha

Now, this timethe downside of increasing information

is, you know, when there is more information

you feel like you can narrow your direction accordingly.

This also relates to “why you shouldn’t focus too much on fundamentals.”

The more information you gather, the easier it is to lose.

This is the same asthe more you study, the more you losein loss.

So why does this happen?

I’ll explain with multi-time-frame analysis.

First, as is often saidlet’s make judgments from higher timeframes first

please think about it.

On the daily chart, you have two options up or down; on the 4-hour chart, two more options,

so at this point you have four choices.

In other words,the win rate is already 25% at this point.

If you add fundamentals and consider the 30-minute chart, the number of options increases further

and when you reach the lower timeframeeight choices.

A win rate of 12.5% before you even start the trade.

It’s unlikely to win with that.

They say don’t bias yourselfbut

biasing makes the selection even more skewed, so it becomes lower than 12.5%.

It could even mean starting a trade with 0% win rate from the outset…

That’s the downside of increasing information.

Trends in trading should be kept as simple as possible, you see?
