【11/21 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Alright, let's do some Dollar-Yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently the USDJPY is around 154.80. The pair started this morning at around 155.35, but during Tokyo time it moved with a slight dollar-selling tendency.
After 3:00 PM, the financial magazine Barron's reported on NY Fed President Williams's view of “inflation cooling and further rate cuts,” and the market reacted with dollar selling.
It briefly sold off to around 154.55, but then rebounded a bit, leaving about a 55-pip drop from the morning level as we transition to overseas hours.
It feels like prices have become quite heavy.
Now, here are the points for tonight's dollar-yen scalping.
● Movements near the 17:00 London market open
● Movements after the release of US Initial Jobless Claims and the Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index at 22:30
● Movements near the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the release of US Leading Economic Indicators and Existing Home Sales at 24:00
● Be mindful of statements from US dignitaries
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Ukraine situation
Tonight's 1-minute scalp opportunities may arise from market open movements, the 22:30 releases, and the 24:00 releases. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” follow the theory accordingly and you should be fine.
Also, for the 15-minute bearish-only scalp, with Barron's taking up Williams's views, prices seem heavier and there may be chances. This one would involve waiting for a pullback and entering around 155 yen.
