[Free Methods Published] Tonight's USD/JPY Scalping Points 2024/11/18

【11/18 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good job everyone! Now let's do some Dollar/Yen scalping tonight as well!
First, today's Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 154.55. This morning, USD/JPY started near 154.50, but during Tokyo time, the gains in the dollar and losses in the yen that had been occurring in overseas hours last week have cooled, showing a tendency toward a pullback with some consolidation, without widening the downside.
Although the yen showed weakness on remarks by Governor Ueda, there was no indication of an early further rate hike, so the direction remains unclear.
It seems we will hand over to overseas trading at around the same level as in the morning.
What was that dollar/yen selling that could have been a stealth intervention last weekend? I think continued caution is necessary today as well.
Now, the points for tonight's USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around the 17:00 London market open
● Movements around the 23:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● No notable U.S. indicators to watch
● Be mindful of headlines related to the Trump administration
Tonight's 1-minute chart scalping has no particular catalysts in the market, so the idea is to accumulate profits from moves around market openings. For users of the “1-minute scalping club,” there should be no issue if you handle it according to the theory.
Also, for the 15-minute scalp that focuses on short positions, if there is selling that could be interpreted as last weekend's stealth intervention, opportunities may expand again. This would be an approach initiated from around the mid-154 yen level or higher.
Now, the overseas session will begin shortly!
【11/18 Major U.S. Indicators/Events】
