[Method free publication] Tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points 2024/11/15
Tazaki from the Trading Office here.
[11/15 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Let’s do some USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 156.40. This morning it started around 156.25, but during the Tokyo session it continued the prior dollar-buying momentum and rose to a new high for the day, around 156.75 after 9:30.
This rise is partly due to yesterday’s Powell statement from the Fed suggesting there’s no hurry to cut rates, which tempered expectations for further cuts.
Next, European and London participants will join in; will we see a test of 157?
From the morning level, about 15 pips higher, we’ll pass the baton to overseas session.
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements near the London market open around 17:00
● Movements after the release of U.S. Retail Sales and the U.S. NY Fed Manufacturing Index at 22:30
● Movements near the New York market open around 23:00 (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Be cautious of remarks from U.S. officials
● Watch headlines related to Trump’s potential administration
For the 1-minute chart scalping tonight, in addition to moves around market open, there should be opportunities at 22:30 with the U.S. Retail Sales and the NY Fed Manufacturing Index. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” follow the theory and you should be fine.
Also, the dedicated 15-minute short-scale scalping has few chances given the ongoing dollar strength; there may be some selling pressure due to weekend position adjustments, but there’s no need to aggressively sell into the current dollar strength.
Now, we’re about to begin overseas trading!

Actually, one of my trading methods, the “15-minute Scalping” using the 15-minute USD/JPY chart, is fully freely available.
I hope it can be of some help, as a small contribution. (Completely free, you know.)
