[11/13 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Good work everyone! Tonight as well, let’s do some dollar-yen scalping!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, the dollar-yen is around 154.80. This morning it started around 154.60, but during Tokyo time it edged slightly above the previous day’s high, continuing the prior day’s dollar-strength trend and staying in the high range.
After this, European and London traders will join in, and it may approach 155 yen.
From the morning level, about 20 pips higher, it looks like we’ll pass the baton to the overseas session.
Now, here are tonight’s dollar-yen scalping points.
● 17:00 Movements near the London market open
● 22:30 Movements after the US Consumer Price Index release
● 23:00 Movements near the New York market open (DOW open at 23:30)
● Pay attention to remarks from US officials
● Headlines related to the Trump administration should be watched
Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping will create opportunities not only from market open movements but also after the US CPI release. For users of the “1-Minute Scalping Club,” if you handle it according to the theory, there should be no problems.
Also, the short-only 15-minute chart scalping continues to show a dollar-strength trend since yesterday, so opportunities may be few. There may be some pre-release position adjustments selling, but the downside is likely limited, so it might be safer to refrain.
