At a conference in Prague, Czech Republic, Devcon4, Vitalik Buterin, a developer known for the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH), showed a bullish stance regarding the upcoming Serenity upgrade.

Ethereum Update Contents
The updates publicly announced by Ethereum are the following four.
- Frontier
- Homestead
- Metropolis
- Serenity
Among the above updates, the two already implemented are “Frontier” and “Homestead.”
As of November 2018, we are in the middle of the upgrade “Constantinople” within “Metropolis.”
Note: Metropolis is a large upgrade composed of two phases: “Byzantium” and “Constantinople.”
