【11/8 USD/JPY Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo time overview.
Currently, USD/JPY is around 152.75. This morning it started at around 152.85, but during Tokyo time it continued the decline from yesterday’s New York session, showing a slight dollar-selling tendency.
After a move back to a high around 153.35 in Asia around 10:30, the dollar selling resumed due to Finance Minister Kato’s comments restraining yen weakness.
Last night’s U.S. FOMC also acted as expected with an additional 0.25% rate cut, accelerating the unwind of the Trump rally.
From the morning level, about 10 pips lower, it seems to be handing over to the overseas session.
Europe and London traders will enter now; will the 152.50 level from Asia’s low be broken...?
Now, the points for tonight’s USD/JPY scalping.
● Movements around 17:00 London market open
● Movements around 23:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movements after the 24:00 U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index release
Tonight’s 1-minute scalping opportunities should arise from movements around market open and after the 24:00 Michigan confidence data release. If handled as per theory, there should be no problem.
Also, the 15-minute scalping for shorts can be opportunities given the dollar-selling dominance from the Trump rally unwind. If you can sell above the mid-152s, that’s the image for entry.
