【11/7 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Thank you for your hard work! Now, let's do dollar/yen scalping again tonight!
First, the overview of the Tokyo session today.
Currently, the dollar/yen is around 154.05. This morning it started around 154.55, but in the early Tokyo session it traded in the high of yesterday. After 9:30, there were moments when it strengthened up to 154.70 in Asia’s high price for today.
However, with the U.S. FOMC looming tonight, long positions are gradually being dumped, and it looks like it will fall about 50 pips from the morning level as we transition to the overseas session.
Now European and London players will join, but it feels like there will be a little adjustment before the U.S. FOMC.
Now, the points for tonight’s dollar/yen scalping.
● Around the London market open at 17:00
● Movement after the U.S. initial jobless claims release at 22:30
● Movement around the New York market open (Dow opens at 23:30)
● Movement after the U.S. FOMC rate and statement at 28:00
● Movement after the Powell FRB chair press conference at 28:30
For tonight’s 1-minute scalping, in addition to the market open movements, there should be opportunities after the 22:30 U.S. initial jobless claims release. The moves after 28:00 FOMC decision and 28:30 Powell press conference are also targets, but the issue is whether I can stay awake..
Also, for a short-only 15-minute chart scalping, there is a chance if there is a pullback before the FOMC and if yesterday’s easy long dump occurs. If entering, I’d like to target around 154.20-30.
