【11/4 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】

Good work everyone! Alright, let's do some USD/JPY scalping again tonight!

First, starting with today's Tokyo session overview.

Currently, USD/JPY is around 152.05. This morning it started around 152.25, but during the Tokyo session the trend has been driven by selling the dollar.

The reason seems to be Harris's resurgence in the polling regarding the U.S. presidential election, leaving Trump with little lead.

Trump’s expectation of a stronger dollar has faded, and the market has gapped down more than 70 pips from the previous close at the end of last week.

From the morning level, about 20 pips lower, the market is handing over to overseas sessions.

Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.

● Movements around 16:00 London market open

● Movements around 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● No notable U.S. indicators to watch

● Be cautious of headlines related to the U.S. presidential election

Tonight’s 1-minute scalping play is to accumulate profits on moves near market open without any particular catalysts. However, with the U.S. presidential race reaching its climax, there can be big moves on headlines just like this morning. Automatic stop-outs are essential.

Also, for the 15-minute scalping that focuses on the shorts, if a selling setup appears around 152.20-152.30, I will initiate counter-trend selling. The upside is getting heavy, so there should be opportunities.
