[Free Method Published] Tonight's USD/JPY scalping points 2024/10/29
This is Tomizaki from Trading Office.
【10/29 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points】
Good work everyone! Alright, let’s do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!
First, from today’s Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the Dollar/Yen is at the 152.85 level. This morning, it started around 153.25, but during Tokyo time there was a slight yen-buying tendency.
Following the election results, it rose to around 153.90 yesterday, but after the yen selling ran its course, the gain essentially retraced. This has made the upside seem heavier.
That said, the 152-yen level also seems firm, so today we may not see large moves.
It looks like we will hand off to overseas time with about a 40-pip drop from the morning level.
Now, here are tonight’s Dollar/Yen scalping points.
● Movements near the 16:00 London market open
● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Movements after the 23:00 release of the U.S. JOLTS job openings and the U.S. Consumer Confidence Index
● Pay attention to headlines related to the U.S. presidential election
For the 1-minute chart scalping tonight, chances may arise from movements around market open and after the 23:00 releases of the U.S. JOLTS and the Consumer Confidence Index.
If handled according to standard after-release principles, there should be no problem.
Also, for the 15-minute scalping focused on selling, we will enter if there is a setup to sell in the 153-yen range. I’m hesitant to sell in the 152-yen range...
With the U.S. presidential election coming up next week, it should be OK to ride selling in the pullback from high levels.
And now, overseas time is about to begin!
