I am Warren God.
Among Warren God's articles, the one that draws the most traffic is actually this. The DocuSign series.

Recently, as tech stocks have fallen, DocuSign stock, which had surged after the March IPO, has also dropped quite a bit.
But I think it’s okay not to worry about it.
Once again, I think the business model we’re aiming for is wonderful. It aims to eliminate all the paperwork that big companies are bogged down with.
It makes possible the entire process of drafting contracts (wording adjustments), signing, and post-signature contract management in the digital world. And with reliability. Recently, they started a service that embeds contract information into the Ethereum blockchain.
For me, the cryptocurrency as an investment target is irrelevant; the real use of blockchain is like this.

It’s not a consumer-facing service like Google, Facebook, or Amazon, so it hasn’t attracted much attention, but steadily it is entering business processes and approval processes worldwide and is starting to establish a platform position.
For example, looking at the DocuSign Japan site, you can see introductions of implementations in Japan.
Electronic internal submission and approval documents for Mitsukoshi Isetan Property Management Co., AstraZeneca’s clinical operation documents, Meiwa Real Estate’s real estate contracts, Pasona’s documents related to human resources staffing, and a collaboration between NTT Advanced Technology and DocuSign, among others, are progressing one after another.
By the way, I’m not a promoter of DocuSign, lol
Still, I feel there is room for expansion. Worldwide, 300,000 companies have adopted it and 200 million people use it...

That said, this type of process-improvement service doesn’t spread quickly. It takes time.
Because for users, changing existing processes is troublesome, and it takes time to become accustomed and trusted. Even if there are corporate benefits, employees and customers may not immediately get it, so it takes time.
It’s not like Facebook or Amazon.
But it gradually spreads, and once it does, it continues to be used.
Competitors like Adobe are of concern, but it seems to be a good match. The second-quarter results were solid.
Writing articles like this helps me persuade myself (laugh),
and I plan to keep patiently waiting.
