【10/25 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points】

Good work today! Now, let's do dollar-yen scalping again tonight!

First, from today's Tokyo session overview.

Currently, the dollar-yen is at the 151.55 level. This morning, it started around 151.75, but during the Tokyo session it tended to drift with a slight dollar selling trend.

The mid-151 range felt solid, but with U.S.treasury yields declining, the upside was heavy, and foreign players may push further lower.

As we approach this weekend's Lower House election, how far will position-adjusting selling appear...?

From around 20 pips below the morning levels, it seems we’ll hand over to the overseas session.

Now, here are tonight’s dollar-yen scalping points.

● Movements near the 16:00 London market open

● Movements after the 21:30 U.S. Durable Goods Orders release

● Movements near the 22:00 New York market open (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Movements after the 23:00 U.S. University of Michigan Consumer Confidence Index release

● Be mindful of statements from U.S. officials

For one-minute interval scalping tonight, opportunities are likely to arise around market open plus the moves after the 21:30 Durable Goods Orders and the 23:00 UMich Consumer Confidence release. The 23:00 hour has been moving quite a bit lately.

Also, for the 15-minute scalping, the plan is to enter if the price can reach the mid-151s above the 151.50 level, though not necessarily at the 152 level yet.
