First, live on air! (Double-You FX miscellany)
Good evening. I like baseball, so lately I’ve been having a drink while watching the Japan Series.
Even though I have a health check next week, it’s fantastic to drink alcohol while watching the Japan Series! That’s the best!
I might come across as old-fashioned, but the rule is to drink when you’re able to enjoy it.
The experience of what I did when I thought “this is it!” has accumulated and is indispensable for living on at Toshito Tomoichi (Sumo Wut?)
Mental attitude for living better is important.
Well then, in order to survive through investing, as I observe the sales of GoGoJyan’s EAs, it seems like I won’t be able to become part of the winning group.
① Buy because the forward is superbly performing
② Buy because everyone else is buying
Personally, I’m doing the most wrong approach to buying.
Regarding ①, while it’s certainly better if the forward is good,
there is absolutely no holy grail in EA as a thing.
Signals go from green to yellow after green, right?
After the forward is green, there is a very high possibility it will become yellow or red.
In the market, that means you end up getting in at a high price and lose, quickly deciding this EA is useless!
In another series I will explain which EAs are usable and which aren’t,
but at least for evaluating backtests, and judging them by relating backtests to forwards,
I’d like to decide whether to buy or not with a long-term perspective in mind.
An EA that I thought was unusable and stopped later made a huge profit if it had been kept running...
If I bought just because it seemed to have a chance of winning, I ended up with a disaster...
…I don’t want that to happen! I want everyone to win!
In another article I’ll reveal the true truth about backtests, but
I will write without fear of sacrificing the EA I listed for sale because of that.
If the “true trading” becomes the majority, I believe a favorable market environment for winning will be established.
Red light, if we all cross together, it won’t be scary! (What!!)
