【Points for 10/21 USD/JPY scalping】

Good work everyone! Now, let's do USD/JPY scalping again tonight!

First, here's today’s Tokyo session overview.

Currently, USD/JPY is around 149.25. This morning USD/JPY started around 149.55, but during the Tokyo session it moved with a yen-buying tendency.

We updated the session’s low from last Friday’s overseas session at 149.35, moving lower to about 149.10 at one point.

With 149.10 as the Asian low, it retraced a bit and is expected to hand off to the overseas session about 30 pips lower than the morning level.

Now, I’m curious whether the European/London traders will push it below 149… this is worth watching.

Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.

● Movement around 16:00 when the London market opens

● Movement around 22:00 when the New York market opens (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Movement after the release of the “U.S. Leading Economic Index” at 23:00

● Pay attention to statements from key U.S. figures

Tonight’s 1-minute chart scalping opportunities will likely arise from market moves around the open and from the movement after the 23:00 U.S. Leading Economic Index release.

Not an extremely high-impact indicator, so I’d like to handle it calmly according to the theory.

Also, for 15-minute scalping, the image is selling from the 149 yen mid-range. However, if European/London players start selling, it would be prudent not to chase too far.
