[10/15 Dollar/Yen Scalping Points]

Good work everyone! Now let's do Dollar/Yen scalping again tonight!

First, here is today’s Tokyo session overview.

Currently, USD/JPY is around 149.70. This morning it started around 149.75, but in the early Tokyo session there seemed to be selling by real-money players, pushing it down to around 149.45.

However, that area marked Asia’s low, and after a brief rebound, it is likely to hand over to the overseas session at roughly the same level as in the morning.

It looks difficult to move much with 150 yen just around the corner. Tonight there aren’t any particular catalysts, so it may hover in the high range, but we should be a bit cautious of the US financial sector earnings.

Now, here are tonight’s USD/JPY scalping points.

● Movements near the London market open around 16:00

● Movements after the US NY Fed Manufacturing Index release at 21:30

● Movements near the New York market open around 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)

● Be cautious of remarks from US officials

● Be cautious of earnings announcements from major US companies

Tonight’s 1-minute scalping will likely find opportunities near market open plus movements after the 21:30 US NY Fed Manufacturing Index release. However, as major US financial sector earnings are scheduled, it’s important to check the timing of those announcements.

Additionally, in the 15-minute chart scalping, if a sell-off develops with 150 yen in sight due to upper resistance, there could be opportunities.
