[10/9 Dollar-Yen Scalping Points]
Good job today! Now, let's continue with Dollar-Yen scalping tonight as well!
First, today's Tokyo session overview.
Currently, the Dollar-Yen is around 148.50. This morning it started around 148.20, and during Tokyo session there were times it sold off to around 148.00, which became Asia's low.
As overseas time approaches, the trend has gradually tilted toward dollar strength and yen weakness.
It seems the overseas session will hand off with about a 30 pips rise from the morning levels.
The 150 level is once again in sight, and from around the upper 148s, upside movement is likely to become heavier little by little.
Now, here are the points for tonight's Dollar-Yen scalping.
● Movements around the London market open near 16:00
● Movements around the New York market open near 22:00 (Dow opens at 22:30)
● Be cautious of remarks by U.S. officials
This evening in overseas time there isn’t much in the way of catalysts until the release of the FOMC minutes. For the one-minute chart scalping, as yesterday, the moves around market open will be the key.
Additionally, if a setup for a short on the 15-minute chart appears, targets would be 148.00, and if broken, 147.50. However, given expectations that rate-cutting bias may be shown in the FOMC minutes, buying could come into the market.
