Leverage in FX automated trading
Leverage is a very characteristic and effective mechanism in FX trading.
Unlike stocks, FX leverage in Japan is 25x. Abroad, you can apply leverage of 200x or more.
Therefore, FX can be traded with a small amount of funds, making it easy for beginners to participate from a small amount.
From my personal viewpoint, if possible, the ideal is to start with a small amount and steadily earn profits.
But even for beginners, you can't expect to manage large sums right away if you are not accustomed to trading.
Therefore, FX with high leverage is attractive precisely because you can start with a small amount.
However, there are also people who try to make big profits by risking large lots and end up losing their funds.
So you must be cautious in that respect.
One more point is that initially using the word “Effective” suggests that leverage is typically used with small amounts, so the risk is high, but
if you manage risk well, higher leverage allows you to hold more positions
and there is less chance of margin calls.
Automated trading EA can hold multiple positions. Some EAs hold as many as six or seven, so if you run several such EAs simultaneously and hold positions at the same time, you may face margin shortages that prevent new trades.
Therefore, with higher leverage, turnover increases and the speed of profit realization can be faster, which can be seen as a benefit, too.
If you cap your funds per trade at 3%, even with many trades,
the risk does not become too large, right?
