■About the tools developed by Mr. KADO■ |
| Hayakawa |
Mr. KADO, thank you again for joining us for this third installment as well.
Today we would like to discuss two indicators to help make trading go smoothly,
Overshoot Sentineland the TradingView-basedDollar-Yen interest rate overshoot indicator tool.
Now, for the final installment, we look forward to your continued collaboration, Mr. KADO. |
I'm looking forward to introducing the products! Thank you in advance!! |

Now, please tell us how to view and use the tools!

The image above shows the USD/JPY 1-hour chart.
The Overshoot Sentinel is shown below. This is an indicator that detects whether the price is overbought/oversold, i.e., overshooting.
The blue line indicates the strength of the overshoot, while the green line means too cheap and the red line means too high.

I see. In other words, by the color change of the blue line, you can tell which direction the market has overshot.
Yes. And what sets this indicator apart from ordinary oscillators is that it also analyzes major price movements. The gray line shown on the screen indicates the overall trend; when the price is above this line, the market is in a strong state.

| In other words, when the price gets heated, you either refrain from trading or, for advanced users, target short-term trades here? |
■Dollar/Yen Interest Rate Overshoot Indicator (TradingView-only)■ |
That's right. For trend-following traders, you can lock in profits when overshoot is detected, or alternatively aim for short-term contrarian trades. The moment the green line changes to blue signals that price momentum is temporarily calming, so using contrarian positions there can be effective.

I see. This is really handy for timing. Now, could you also tell us about the other indicator, the TradingView Dollar/Yen interest rate spread?
Yes. This indicator specializes in USD/JPY and determines whether the price has overshot based on the interest rate differential between the US and Japan. In forex, the interest rate differential is fundamental, but there are times when the price moves beyond that. This indicator detects those overshoots.

When the price moves excessively relative to the interest rate differential, this is indicated by color. Blue means too cheap, red means too expensive.
Yes. Like the Overshoot Sentinel earlier, this can be used to grasp price overshoots. When this appears, it may be a good time to reassess the trend. It can also help identify contrarian timing.

■How to normally use the Overshoot Sentinel■ |
| Hayakawa |
It's really convenient! The TradingView indicators are very simple and easy to understand. Mr. KADO, in what way do you usually use these tools?
I use these tools in my daily trades to reinforce my trend analysis. In particular, I think they are very helpful for those who have trouble riding the trend or tend to get left behind by it.

| Hayakawa |
I see, by mastering the tools you can grasp the strength of the trend and the overshoot state, enabling you to trade at appropriate times. Finally, could you share a final message for everyone watching the video?
Yes. Trends are not absolute; understanding what lies inside is important. By grasping trend overshoot and strength, technical analysis becomes more enjoyable and trading more efficient. Please use these tools to gain a deeper understanding of the market!
