On October 14, 2018, the UK-based fintech company Wirex announced The Money20/20 USA Payments Race Twitter, a five-day challenge from New York to Las Vegas where challengers move using a single payment method such as credit cards, cash, and cryptocurrencies.

Ripple (XRP) emerged as the most capable in the race in a survey?!

Wirex, in launching The Money20/20 USA Payments Race Twitter, asked a question:

“If Max Meilleur were to aim for the finish using only cryptocurrencies, which cryptocurrency should he use?”

A survey of 5,598 people identified the following four cryptocurrencies.

• Bitcoin (BTC)
• Ripple (XRP)
• Litecoin (LTC)
• Ethereum (ETH)
