This time I plan to conduct an interesting experiment.

I will try using one of my well-known EAs and

for example

“What if the TP is made extremely narrow like 3 pips? Would that win?”

I would like to verify this with backtesting.

Indeed the win rate seems likely to be higher, but... what will happen?

I will post the actual backtest results!

Although the win rate is generally increasing,

it reduces the original performance and potential.

Moreover, even if TP is set to 3 pips, the win rate is not 100%;

there are trades that lose before reaching 3 pips,

and the maximum drawdown exceeds 0.1 lots by around 7,000 yen per trade,

there were trades that hit a 70-pip stop loss.

This may be surprising to everyone.

Next, how about 5 pips?

Well, it remains upward-trending, but

it still does not fully utilize the original performance.

And,

in my EA development method, TP and SL are optimized at the end.

Additionally, I also offer EAs that rise with an upward trend even without TP and SL.

Thus, I backtested with TP and SL set to 10,000 pips so that it would not function.

Even trading only with technical logic yields an upward curve.

Compared to the 3-pip and 5-pip cases, the performance clearly improves.

Under these conditions, only EAs with an upward-backtest are listed for sale, but

I optimized TP and SL from here and put them up for sale.
