The world is mostly relative

“Relative”What comes to mind when hearing that word is Einstein

There are words “absolute” and “relative,”

however, I think most things in the world are relative.

For example,

the highest mountain on Earth is around 8,000 meters above sea level,

so a mountain of 1,000 meters feels low in comparison.

But if the world’s highest were 2,000 meters,

a 1,000-meter mountain would feel reasonably high.

This is what it means to be relative.

The same thing can be said in FX,

when the yen weakens and passes 160,

after interventions by the Bank of Japan, it falls to the 140s,

you feel that “the yen has weakened quite a bit,”

years ago it would rise above 120 and even beyond 125…

when it reached the 140s, you would have thought,

“the yen has become very weak…”

you would have felt that way.

This, too, is something that people perceive mostly relatively.

In this way,

most things are perceived relatively,

keeping that in mind, your trading skills may improve as well.

After all, rate prices are also relative,

which is why they’re called a market.

To put it simply,

avoid simply counter-trading based on price level intuition,

and such considerations are important,

think about what story led to the current price?

If you keep that in mind,

your trading skills will likely improve, and

in EA operations, you’ll be able to watch with a steadier mind

and feel that things will become that way!
