9/17 In the first place, I have no concept of praying for EA operation - EA Beginner Course - Navi+ - GogoJungle | Auto Trading - Market Analysis

FX automated trading, the double-i-e of EA developers in the Reiwa era.

In discretionary trading

“Prayer trading”is a term.

When the entered position is in drawdown,

and losses are piling up, you are in a situation where you have to pray.

If there were precise rules,

you would cut losses at the right timing, but

you understand that cutting losses takes courage.

This is,

even in EA operation, there are people who pray.

An EA that holds positions ends up with drawdown,

and it seems it will become a losing trade no matter what…

You might end up praying…

something like that.

However,

personally I believe there is no need to pray for an EA.

Why, you may ask?

To put it bluntly, if you are praying, that EA can’t be used,

in other words,

the outcome is already decided at the stage of choosing the EA before operation,

it’s better to keep that in mind to that extent.

If you thoroughly choose the EA,

then you can focus on rigorous risk management,

and then, for example, I operate completely hands-off.

(I check periodically how it’s performing, though)

So,

there is no concept of praying with an EA in my view.
