I do not read the sales page text at all.

If I do look,

it will be the forward performance and the forward trading history,

and I judge it good or bad solely from backtests.

In other words,

whether the forward results align with the backtest?

whether the backtest is trustworthy?

If you look at only those, you can determine good or bad.

Even if the forward results are good,

whether that was a fluke can be seen in the backtest.
