“The Japan Virtual Currency Exchange Association (General Incorporated Association) (Representative: Yasuken Okuyama; Location: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) announces that on October 24, 2018, it was certified by the Financial Services Agency as a certified funds settlement business operator association related to virtual currency exchange under Article 87 of the Funds Settlement Act, and we hereby report this.”
Additionally, on the same date, we implemented our self-regulatory rules and hereby report that at the offices listed below, all operations, including self-regulatory activities, have officially commenced.
With the certification as a turning point, we, together with our members, are determined to further strive to build an industry that earns the trust of everyone who uses virtual currencies.
