9/18 About a good interviewer
FX Auto Trading, EA developerReiwa’s Double-E here.
It's a phrase I heard somewhere and it sticks in my memory,
not to listen after you see it, but to see before you hear.
There is such a thing.
If you don't understand something, you won't understand unless you ask,
but before that, you should do some research yourself to some extent and guess,
and then ask experts as if you are cross-checking your answer.
You might say, “I think it this way, but what is the reality?”
and ask like that.
I think such a method
might be easier to internalize.
Occasionally
there are people who ask exactly as they see it,
and in such cases,
they have not researched much on their own,
which is, in a sense, off the mark,
to put it metaphorically...
When interviewing a top-level athlete,
some knowledge or insight is required,
and more importantly, a certain amount of personal ability,
otherwise you may be brushed off or, in some cases, removed from the assignment.
You see such scenes often,
and similar things apply here,
ideally, you would research to a point where you cannot research any further,
and know the essence of the matter,
and then, even from the expert, you would receive a question-worthy response that would impress them,
reaching a level that makes the expert say wow.
However,
instead of asking about things you see and don’t understand,
there are times when you can draw out more meaningful answers than the questions themselves.
I hope for that kind of thing!
Well then!
