How to Find a Winning EA (Gogoジャン Edition)
Today I will write an article on the theme of how to find an EA that can win.
I have developed over 100 EAs so far.
I also use EAs developed by other EA creators.
Gogojungle is one of the largest domestic EA sales platforms.
There are many high-performance EAs that can be operated in real trading, though they are paid.
When you find a high-performance EA, you instinctively think, This EA looks good, I want this, and you end up making an impulsive buy.
I also purchased about 10 EAs on Gogojungle.
But after purchase, when I actually run them, for some reason they don’t win.
Forward performance looked good, but right after I purchased, a fairly large drawdown occurred.
Even if things later recover, don’t you feel that some EAs just become unable to win and stay that way?
In fact, the same thing happens in the stock world too.
There are many cases of sudden crashes when you jump on a seemingly good stock.
In EA trading, too, an EA that was performing well suddenly deteriorates, which happens often.
How can we avoid buying such EAs?
My answer consists of two parts.
First, buy EAs from trusted EA developers.
Buy from developers who have been selling multiple EAs that have continued to win over a long period.
In other words, avoid creators with short activity periods or EAs whose long-term forward performance cannot be verified.
EA performance depends on two elements: the EA’s logic and the developer’s skill.
If the logic matches the current market, it will naturally win.
But if the market changes and the logic no longer works, the EA will stop winning.
Why did a previously good EA suddenly deteriorate? Because the market no longer fits, or because its logic became widely known and its edge disappeared.
EA developers consider the shelf life of such EAs when creating them.
Excellent EA creators develop EAs that can be used long-term, and whether an EA can be used for a long time depends on the developer’s skill.
For this reason, buying from EA creators who sell many EAs that have continued to win for a long time may be the sure-fire method for choosing EAs, don’t you think?
My representative work, PerfectOrder GBPJPY, reached 10,000 pips in the wake of a recent exchange rate surge.
PerfectOrder_GBPJPY
Since its release in July 2021, it has achieved 10,000 pips in three years.
I have never seen an EA with such performance from a single-position strategy.
This suggests the logic matches the current market, and as long as the market remains highly volatile, it should continue to win.
Next is the second answer.
Second, buy EAs from developers who win in real trading.
Fortunately, Gogojungle offers a service called REAL TRADE.
REAL TRADE (Masayan’s page)
REAL TRADE is a service where EA developers register live accounts and publish their EA performance.
Truly profitable EA creators not only sell EAs to earn, but also run their own EAs to earn.
My main trading account for EAs is FXTF.
Starting with 300,000 yen in December 2021, the real account balance has reached 2,000,000 yen this month.
Whether someone is truly winning can be verified by REAL TRADE performance.
There are people on YouTube and elsewhere distributing so-called “instant wins” EA, but if someone is really that successful, why not run it yourself?
EA developers who do not run their own EAs (sellers) are trading only to earn from selling.
They either want to avoid risk for some reason or lack confidence to win in real trading.
Would you want to buy an EA from a developer who does not trade in real accounts?
Gogojungle is the largest domestic EA sales platform.
There are many developers who win in real trading.
To determine whether someone is truly winning, you can check whether they have registered their selling EAs for REAL TRADE.
Demo accounts or small amounts of money in tens of thousands are not enough.
You should look for creators who have at least 1,000,000 yen in their account and are continuously growing their account balance.
When you find a developer you’re interested in, checking REAL TRADE performance will surely help you find a winning EA.
