Win with RSI! Episode 01
[ATS-Base] RSI Training Room
“RSI” is a popular indicator used by many people.
By making a few clever adjustments to this “RSI,” you can trade more efficiently and more enjoyably, aligned with the current market.
Over the next several installments, we will introduce trading methods based on RSI!
Even if you have used RSI before, you might see results that surprise you!!
However, the market does not always move in the same way; there are trends like yen strength or yen weakness, rising and falling markets, and ranging markets.
Moreover, those changes are not constant; moves can be gradual or abrupt, and can behave in completely unpredictable ways.
Some of you may have experienced methods that worked well before suddenly stopping working, or indicators you invested heavily in suddenly becoming useless, right?
Therefore“Aligned with the current market”We believe it is important to trade by using systems and trading conditions that fit the current market to trade efficiently and achieve results effectively.

First, before delving into the RSI topic, we will start by introducing the system called “ATS” that appears in every section!
“ATS” stands for “Adapt To New Trend System,” meaning a system that constantly adapts to new trends.
*Screen explanations and how-to are described on the download page.
Why use “ATS”?
When you find a promising method or trading condition, before actually trading, you would probably want to verify what would have happened if you had traded according to those criteria.
First, you would plot it on the chart, compute from the OHLC data, or, for skilled users, create an EA and perform a backtest.
Will this trading method work or not?
It is necessary to know accurately whether the RSI indicators or tools you are about to use will work, for which currency pairs, time frames, and whether it matches the current market. And it is important to know this as quickly as possible.
From now on, things that take a long time by hand or can hardly be known by eye can be efficiently verified using ATS.
Verification and Optimization
Many people study daily to win.
When you find a promising method or setting, you would first verify what would have happened if you had traded according to that criterion before actually applying it.
There are several ways: plotting on the chart, computing from OHLC data, or, if skilled, creating an EA and performing backtests.
Even if a trading approach seems viable, if you want to find even better settings or tweak conditions slightly, you will need commensurate effort and time.
While it may take substantial time to confirm over a reasonable period, the market is always changing, so quickly learning the outcome is also a key factor.
With ATS, you can get precise answers in seconds, whereas it could take hours for humans.
Dealing with Spreads
Next, let's consider spreads, which are easy to overlook.
ATS takes spreads into account during verification. Even if spreads are very tight at 0.01 (one pip), trading 100 times would amount to 1 yen (100 pips).
It is obvious that trading 100 times at 0.02 (two pips) would amount to 2 yen (200 pips).
Trying to earn 1–2 yen through trading is challenging, and you must also consider that spreads can erode your balance over time.
Not accounting for spreads leads to a large discrepancy between calculated and actual balances.
With repeated trades, that gap grows larger.
You might think, “I should be getting more wins, but the balance isn’t growing as much as I expected.”
Verification Period
To verify, you need a sufficiently long period and a sufficient number of trades.
Results from too short a period are unreliable and may not meet expectations.
However, the longer the period, the more time and effort it requires.
In ATS, you verify to a reasonable extent within a fixed period and compare several settings under the same conditions.
Beneficial Assumptions
When you discover a promising method or tool, people often develop favorable assumptions about it.
The more you have invested effort to find something, the more likely you are to overestimate it. But you must judge it calmly.
ATS quantifies results clearly, so you can view information that helps you make solid decisions.
From Next Time Onward
For this first installment, we will end here, and in the next session we will begin verifications using the signal tool “ATS RSI Navi.”
RSI is a well-known indicator, but we will examine which currency pairs and timeframes it works for, and whether it suits the current market!
The theme is “Win with RSI!”, so we will explain how to use RSI effectively to win.
We hope to assist subscribers and users in achieving efficient and substantial results in their future trades, and we’ll wrap up for now.
We are currently distributing the ATS-12 RSI Navi verification tool for free, so please try it!
