That is the point.

“money,” “romance,” etc. are defined in the same category.
In other words,
“money” and “romance” are defined as the same substance.
Now, here,
in most cases,
which is easier to control, “money” or “romance”?
It is “money.”
For example, imagine professional baseball players.
Professional baseball players are generally highly paid.
That’s because,
they have practiced extraordinarily since school,
and were noticed by scouts,
and drafted.
In other words,
if you work hard yourself,
you can obtain a large contract or salary.
In short, if you can control yourself,
“money” will be at your reach.
I think you’ll at least earn enough to live on.
Now,
when you become a professional baseball player,
great players from all over the country gather.
There,
players are divided into batters and pitchers,
in a “clear-cut matchup,”
and performance is easily quantified.
Here,
for example, no matter how much a batter practices,
if the pitcher is superior, the batter will be struck out.
This is because
it’s a matchup with another person,
you cannot control it by yourself.
This corresponds to “romance.”
Controlling the other person is nearly impossible.
