In the world of shopping,

there are various things from small to large.

When it comes to big purchases,

such as a dream home or a car,

these are purchases that will be with you for a long time in life.

They are not disposable items like ballpoint pens.

So,

how about FX automated trading and EAs?

It is certain that they are not consumables.

Perhaps they will accompany you for life.

Perhaps, in fact,

if you thoroughly consider “EA choice” and “risk management,”

the likelihood of sharing your life with it increases greatly.

And

When choosing a dream home or car,

you think carefully before purchasing because it’s a lifelong thing, right?

If you make a bad purchase, your QoL can stay low for years.

Then,

isn’t a marriage partner the same?

You wouldn’t settle for anyone, would you?

With that in mind,

I think EA should be bought after careful thought as well.

What about backtesting? What about forward testing?

You should buy after careful consideration and conviction.

However,

EA can be something you want to keep for a long time,

but have you ever bought just because it was cheap?

A decision to purchase an EA after careful consideration that ends up finding it cheap is fine, but

is there any long-running EA that you bought just because it was cheap?

In other words,

we should eliminate the motive of buying simply because it is cheap.

Remain mindful and

you should buy after careful thought and conviction.

Otherwise,

the probability of failure in EA trading rises sharply.
