The Biggest Loss of My Life
After starting work, they became interested in investing, and began their journey as an investor primarily through stocks.
However,
The Lehman Shockcausedglobal stock declines and the investor who had been advancing with a string of wins faced an end to that momentum..

YOSSY-sama : "Even in the news there were various reports like, 'Will it fall below 5,000 yen?' and I was filled with nothing but anxiety. In the end, losses totaled several million, and I cried as I cut my losses. At the time, my fingers wouldn't move."
Looking back on it.
However, there YOSSY-sama did not give up.
This situation became a turning point, and they began studying investments they had not tried before— fundamentals, technicals, and other areas.
YOSSY-sama
「First, I researched online and devoured anything with good reviews, reading everything I could find.」
In this way, even though they failed, they kept going, but there were still challenges as they studied, too...
YOSSY-sama
「The big mistake was trying to predict whether the chart would go up or down.
If you study technicals, you might think you'll be able to predict up or down… If you study fundamentals, you might think you'll know up or down… You might think that professional investors know which way the market will move… and fell into this line of thinking.
This way of thinking trapped them, and there was a period when they couldn't earn money.
If you’re reading this and you’re currently wrestling with the same issue,
what saved YOSSY-sama from that state was 「past methods」 and 「past self」 what they learned from them.
The insights gained from old methods and the old self kept them studying despite the struggles.
Eventually, YOSSY-sama began studying investment history such as Sakata’s Five Methodsand Ichimoku Kinko Hyo, learning about the history of investing.
And as they read more, they became interested in older investment methods. These older methods started to feel similar to the ways they had won repeatedly in the past.
They began to think the approach during their stock-winning period was a "mid- to long-term, relatively extended" style.
So they changed their trading method by referencing that period, and their investment results improved.
YOSSY-sama's investment style and mindset began to change from this point.
YOSSY-sama 「Even if you try to predict up or down, you can't get it right.
Rather, the moment you realize you can earn without trying to predict won’t require predicting the direction, and your thinking and trading style changed from that moment.
Thus, after about 15–16 years of study, since June 2017 YOSSY-sama has been operating investments as a specialized business, and is now researching harmonics and Bollinger Bands, among others! (`・ω・´)
