8/20 When tormented by past failures...

FX automated trading, the double-i-ee (Double I-E) developer of Reiwa here.

Like me,

I think many of you have various failures in trading as well.

There are times when you think, “If only I had done this at that time…”,

and I still sometimes think about it.

Such past trauma, or

being tormented by past failures,

exists not only in trading but in life as well, I believe.

And

there are times when it’s hard to stay positive.

When that happens, I always think the following:

Back then, I did my best with what I had,

I had no choice but to do so,

and I tell myself to believe that.

But

the fact that I can think that way means

I have already grown in one way, I believe with confidence!

If I think that way,

even if the past cannot be changed

the pain in my heart can be reduced even a little,

even if not everything is resolved

if it can be reduced even a little,

I think my mood will feel lighter.

I think that’s fine.

And

if I can start walking toward a future I haven’t yet seen,

I believe the future can be changed as much as I want!

Well then!
