What is the period when EA tends to go out of shape?
FX automated trading, the double-E A developer of Reiwa here.
The tool called EA
is developed through an approach that finds and verifies, by backtesting,
advantageous, realistic, and logically sound logics
from as many past chart patterns as possible.
.
In that process,
I build portfolios with various advantageous logics
to face uncertain future markets,
which is my way of fighting.
Of course,
creating a portfolio with various EAs
means that an individual EA may perform poorly at times,
and by complementing each other, keeping losses to a minimum
we aim for significant profits in the long run.
And,
from my experience, there is something I can say.
It is“Do not go against monetary policy.”.
For example,
the USD/JPY moves due to interest rate differentials between the U.S. and Japan,
where dollars and yen are bought or sold, causing price fluctuations.
In such cases,
most EAs aim to profit in a bull or bear market with macro trends,
where the yen weakens or strengthens.
Long-term, an EA that is less likely to lose and easier to win is often named in relation to such market conditions,
an EA that adapts to various dynamic markets of different sizes,
I think that is how it will be.
If that is the case,
when an EA tends to underperform, the characteristics are
a period of policy shift,
times when market expectations about interest rates are tangled,
times when direction with rates is hard to grasp,
I believe these can be said.
However,
if you view such all-market conditions as ones that have been overcome by EAs in the past,
you can simply leave it be and operate with risk management in mind,
or if you feel direction in rates is hard to grasp,
you can handle it on a case-by-case basis,
which is a major appeal of EA operation.
Well then!
