Ubisoft joins the Blockchain Games Alliance
Ubisoft, a major French game-related company, has joined the Blockchain Games Alliance. Members who formed this alliance will collaborate on developing new games based on blockchain technology. This news was reported by the UK video game magazine MCV.
On their site,
“Considering that blockchain is making the world better for everyone from players to developers, we have decided to share knowledge with all stakeholders to create new games. Our goal is to further permeate blockchain into society.”
The alliance also includes blockchain development studio Fig, led by Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum, and other participants such as independent game company ConsenSys, among others.
