When listing EAs with various sales agencies,

not only customers,

but the employees of the sales agencies themselves,

tend to think that EAs are still in a niche.

Even when talking about EAs, there are cases where it doesn't get through.

Since it’s the employees who feel that way,

it is even more so for customers.

EAs have many specialized terms, but

to convey to a broad, general audience,

it's important to communicate in terms that are not technical jargon.

For example,

when discussing that you can automate trading with FX,

we EAs developers often blurt out casually,

“EA this and that～”

and people go,

“Huh?”

as a response.

That made me realize,

“Ah, EA means software that can automatically trade in FX.”

So I often restate it that way.

(...this also happens at speed-dating parties, haha)

(...it's a hassle, so at speed-dating parties I say I’m making financial apps instead! haha)

Well then!
