7/21 (Sun) Bitcoin and others are still far ahead

In EA development, the tick data used for historical validation

the longer it is, covers all kinds of markets

which gives an edge in building logic with a higher probability of success against various chart patterns.

Because of that,

customers sometimes say,

“Please make an EA for Bitcoin as well.”

I am often asked that,

but personally, I feel the data is still insufficient,

so I think development is still a ways off.

We have already started development on traditional assets like gold and silver,

and there are also thoughts of developing something like the Nikkei Stock Average in the future,

but Bitcoin, which has a relatively short history,

still feels like a long way off.

The shorter the past data required for development,

the more parameters will be tailored to that data,

and inevitably it leads to over-optimization,

so if possible, I get the impression that five years of data would be necessary.

However,

the idea that various currency pairs can be automated by EA is also a convenience to the world,

so in the future it is something that needs careful consideration.

What year down the line remains to be examined.
