whether you love Japan very much,

or think Japan is correct

you knew bombs would fall on Japan,

would you still continue to live in Japan?

This is a hyperbole, but

to keep trusting things or people forever is impossible,

I believe this is the truth.

There are those who want things to be 0% or 100% and black-and-white clearly defined,

but if that happens, life will surely become hard.

Because

even in things or people you want to be 100% affirmative about,

there are surely bad parts.

Nevertheless

to continuously affirm 100% for life would be the same as saying it’s okay to die even if a bomb falls.

People are different,

if that is your true desire, that’s fine,

but if you know a bomb will fall and you’re already making life hard before it falls,

there’s no doubt that’s true.

In other words,

you have to suffer a little while you are alive.

There is a saying, nominally “pros and cons.”

In short, for that thing or person,

there are good points and bad points,

you accept them and understand them,

you can understand even if you are not convinced,

isn’t that an important state to be in?

There are many things in the world we cannot convince ourselves of.

But if you cannot at least understand, living becomes painful.
