As is obvious, Japan and many other countries are capitalist societies.
Capitalists hire workers, and wages are paid in exchange for labor.
Within this system, competitive principles operate.
There is a tendency for attractive and relatively affordable products to be favored, and companies, driven by corporate effort, are forced to compete and strive to survive.
However,
there are also “harmful effects” within it.
If one’s own effort is not required,
and the opponent’s power weakens,
one can relativel become superior.
In such situations,
unfair acts like “pulling down the opponent” or
“knocking the opponent off” can run rampant.
These occur not only between nations,
but also between companies,
in schools, among individuals, on social media,
even in LINE open chats,
and in various places.
“If I do nothing,”
“If I insult the opponent,”
“I can stand superior relatively,”
“But I have done nothing wrong,”
“Because the opponent has bad points,”
“I have done nothing,”
“I haven’t done anything bad.”
There are people who think this way.
However,
such people have a “weakness.”
In simple terms, they lack experience.
It is said that “failure is the soil for success.”
Success is built on many failures.
Even Ichiro, who had more than 4,000 hits, struck out 8,000 times.
In boxing,
you can earn fight money just by showing up for a match.
In other words,
is it possible to repeatedly practice trial and error to improve accuracy?
That becomes wisdom for navigating life.
Without such processes,
without enough experience,
without a foundation to improve oneself,
emotional reasoning tends to guide actions,
making it easy to lose direction in life,
and you may be unable to confront strong opponents or respond when faced with reality and objective facts.
That is the weakness.
