There are reportedly increasing investment scams on July 2 (Tue).
For a while now on X (formerly Twitter),
there have been reports that impersonation accounts of celebrities are increasing,
personally,
I think the causes are varied,
firstly, on a big scale,
real wages are shrinking.
Wages have not risen for ten or twenty years,
yet taxes keep increasing,
and due to the pandemic,
society is increasingly filled with regulations and compliance pressures,
making it so people cannot even say what they want, in such a world,
where the true nature of people is exposed,
there are more and more people who, without choosing their means, will scam or do anything to obtain money,
so that they can live.
Well, I cannot tolerate people doing bad things, though.
There is also a stressed-out society,
and migrants with poor manners come in,
compared to the past, things have become quite chaotic.
And the Financial Services Agency remains strict, you know.
FX brokers are supposed to comply with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act and investment advice,
and the system is very strict.
Because it is so strict,
there are people who do not properly register with such institutions and
underground investment scams are increasing,
and I think there is a view that they are being amplified.
In other words, including all that,
the consumers who are users ultimately bear the brunt,
and I cannot forgive that personally.
Along with that,
those of us who work honestly and properly may not get the spotlight,
and being viewed similarly to investment scams is,
a deeply regrettable and unacceptable situation.
I wonder what to say.
I feel that Financial Services Agency staff should actually trade in FX themselves.
Perhaps they should try various investments themselves?
What is good and what is bad,
what is a scam and what isn’t,
experiencing it firsthand might be best.
Probably, many people don’t understand such things yet,
and only start to act after an investment scam occurs,
and the laws respond accordingly,
in other words, the laws do not appear to be made for the users, do they?
And,
we, as EA developers,
must improve such “true” literacy.
But for us to do that,
it is natural that it may be seen as partisan talk sometimes,
and an anti will be born, of course.
Originally,
the Financial Services Agency should know the reality better,
and must publicize it,
and there will be people who won’t believe unless it’s the FSA.
So,
things like that,
we will strive to create a better society.
Users and sellers alike,
a society where honest people get taken advantage of is wrong.
Well then!
