Warning about EA! At the moment of the chart, the trap of the maximum unrealized loss

「DD_Cnt_TotalOrder” is an EA that monitors the real-time profit and loss status of trades tied to your account number and displays the maximum unrealized loss by currency pair.

Specifically, it aggregates the positions for each currency pair related to the account number and displays a list of the peak unrealized loss amount and the number of positions.

This unrealized loss always shows the maximum negative amount that combines profit and loss, swaps, and fees.

This ensures that sudden market fluctuations or transient large losses are not missed and are recorded.

For example, when unrealized losses reach levels such as 60%, 70%, or 80%, you can use this as a reference to increase funds or review your trading methods.

Additionally, it will be useful during test trading of the EA, before starting live operation, to verify results with small trades and set initial capital.

Furthermore, with this tool you can reset the displayed unrealized loss value by simply clicking the “Reset” button, and the value will reset upon MetaTrader restart or changing the timeframe as well.

It also has a feature to display the time when the maximum unrealized loss occurred, and by setting parameters appropriately you can switch the display between server time and local PC time.

Moreover, even if you accidentally close MetaTrader, you can still verify the maximum unrealized loss from the log. The EA automatically logs unrealized losses by currency pair for later review.

To view the logs, go to Terminal → “Experts” tab → Open → refer to the log file for the current day.

◆ Important Notes ◆

・Please note that the “number of positions at the time of the greatest unrealized loss” and the “number of settled positions” are not guaranteed to be the same.

・The currencies included in the aggregation are all positions currently held.

・For currency pairs with no orders, they will not be displayed, so please understand.

・For currency pairs with profits, instead of amount or number of positions, “plus profit” will be displayed.

・The amount considered as the greatest unrealized loss refers to the overall account unrealized loss, not the maximum per currency pair.
