Personally, as a trading basic principle,

the big point is not to go against the direction of the country's monetary policy,

for example, if you keep entering just because swaps are high,

the rule of thumb is that you are likely to be hit someday.

For example, dollars/yen,

“The country's economy is doing well, and prices are rising too much, so they are raising rates.”

If that is the case, it is a positive factor,

so you could have bought for swaps,

like Turkey,

where inflation cannot be stopped and they have to raise rates,

or like Greece,

where they need to raise rates or else foreigners won’t buy,

when negative factors cause rising rates and swaps are high,

there is a high likelihood you will be hit someday.

In such cases, saying “stop” is difficult,

and there is a high chance of it becoming a salt position (holding without action),

and capital efficiency tends to worsen.

Investing in promising, higher-yielding areas in the future is good in itself.

However, going all-in still increases risk.

Therefore,

investing in an EA that has low maximum drawdown, high recovery factor, and can perform evenly every year

is a very good thing, I think.
