6/27 (Thu) Not Going Against Monetary Policy (What about EA?) - EA Beginner Course - Navi+ - GogoJungle | Auto Trading - Market Analysis

As I mentioned briefly yesterday,

in trading, it is important not to go against monetary policy.

For EAs,

based on past big data, you can place counter-trend trades at times when it’s okay to go against the policy, but

for discretionary trading,

I think it is important not to go against monetary policy.

Some people,

by using fundamentals like monetary policy,

decide whether to run or stop the EA, in other words, implement handling.

I think that’s fine in its own right.

However, in the case of EAs,

even under various past monetary policies, they have performed well,

and backtests show an upward trend,

so those EAs that originally performed well in the past

adhere to a no-handling principle.

After all, since it’s automated trading, introducing handling would make it no longer automated trading.

With that said,

I’m developing EAs that can be left alone.
