3/23 GoGoJan's monitor program
Reiwa Double-I is here.
Recently, or rather for quite a while now,
“I want to become a monitor, is that okay?”
I often receive messages like that.
...A monitor is,
in Gogojan’s system,
Gogojan has EA developers listing their EAs,
EA developers aren’t salespeople, since they’re developers,
there are people who can sell EAs better than the developers themselves, right?
You know, the so-called affiliate people.
Many EA developers seem to be craftsmen-type,
so not many are great at marketing,
and if there’s someone who can sell well, it makes things easier.
So,
“There must be affiliates who sell a lot of EAs,”
and if there are affiliates like that,
as an EA developer,
“Please use my EA for free and promote it!”
is a pattern that can happen.
That is the monitor system.
In short, we give you a Gogojan-certified EA for free,
you can use it in your own operations,
and you promote it a lot and do affiliate marketing ☆
because then we also profit ☆
that’s the idea.
...But, if you misuse this,
“You just want the EA for free anyway!”
and the intentions become obvious to those who apply for monitors
they apply for monitors too.
Hmmm.
This pattern often does not become a win-win, which I don’t like.
It’s not gentlemanly.
“How many readers do you have, and roughly what percentage convert?”
and then they become unresponsive after that.
First of all, or rather,
If I were an affiliate,
I wouldn’t become a monitor,
I would simply buy that EA.
If I judged it to be a good EA,
it could be an expense too.
Other than that,
the desire to get it for free easily,
there may be various reasons,
and I can’t say it’s completely unheard of, but,
it leaves me with a feeling of hmm.
If
“I don’t think it’s a very good EA, but it seems to sell well, so I’ll apply for a monitor”
or
“If this EA were free, I’d like to use it. Then I’ll apply for a monitor.”
That would be extremely frustrating, you know, lol
So,
I investigate to a reasonable extent and judge OK or NG, “my own judgment and biases.”
Of course, for those with affiliate results,
whether long-term or short-term operation,
whether it feels like a win-win,
whether the philosophy is solid and relatable,
and if someone treats EAs with respect,
there were cases where I’d say please proceed from our side.
Well, if you want to become a monitor,
please contact Gogojan☆
And that’s the latest, see you again!
