There appears to be someone offering paid EA installation support on 5/7 (Tue).
EA developers: this is the double-E of Reiwa.
A topic that recently sparked discussion in the community is
the one I wrote in the title.
My frank impression was,
“There are people who charge money for that kind of thing!”
As for charging money for EA installation support itself,
I’m not either denying or endorsing it; I simply hadn’t thought of it before,
that’s the feeling.
There were opinions like, don’t take money for such things,
and that those who can’t install EAs wouldn’t be able to earn money anyway,
and various opinions were flying around, but
if you put it that way,
when you buy a PC at an electronics retailer,
there is a paid option called initial setup support, isn’t there,
that’s how it feels.
On a different note,
there were also people who teach the portfolio of other EAs for a fee.
As for opinions,
there was also the view, don’t use others’ sumo wresting with their own.
But
what is it,
if you change your way of thinking,
it might be like a fashion magazine
that says, “This is the current trend!” haha,
perhaps something similar.
Personally,
as long as both parties involved are convinced,
and there’s asset management beyond that,
I think that’s fine in its own way.
If that’s the case, those around you probably won’t make a fuss.
That’s why,
it’s important to research for yourself and be convinced,
not to think “paid is normal,”
I think that’s important.
